Beautiful downtown Charleston is truly a unique place in America.  Perennially  voted one of the best cities in America, including The World’s top city by Travel and Leisure.  The Charleston Peninsula has a charm all its own.  Whether strolling through the market, walking along the battery or a taking a carriage ride to hear about the history of Charleston there are activities and adventures for the local and tourist alike.

In the middle ground of the these sections is Cannonborough.  This is an up and coming part of town just a few blocks from the revitalization of upper King Street.  Cannonborough provides an opportunity to live close to the action of downtown Charleston with the price of South of Broad.  From Cannonborough you can bike or even walk to some of the best eateries in the town like Hall’s, The Ordinary or The MacIntosh.  This neighborhood gives you the opportunity to be close to the life of downtown Charleston and will continue to take shape over the coming years.

Even if you end up buying in a surrounding area of Charleston, like James Island, Mount Pleasant, or West Ashley it is great to know that downtown Charleston is so close to enjoy.  So come visit, stay and live in one of the world’s best cities.
