Resort Living with a Family Lifestyle

Hop on the Isle of Palms connector or the Ben Sawyer Bridge, or bike across the old Pitt Street Bridge from Mount Pleasant to reach Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island.  The islands are characterized by scenic lowcountry landscapes and beautiful beaches, each with its own unique charm. Sullivan’s Island is home to Fort Moultrie and Sullivan’s Island Elementary and has the comfortable atmosphere of a local beach neighborhood.  Walk or ride your bike up to Poe’s Tavern, Dunleavy’s or Home Team BBQ for a bite to eat and a refreshing beverage.  Take tourists or friends to visit Charleston’s lesser known fort, Fort Moultrie, to get another glimpse of the area’s fascinating history.  Sullivan’s Island offers a friendly neighborhood beach lifestyle with the city still just minutes away.

The Isle of Palms, better known as IOP to locals, is home to Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms County Park, and a locally famous music spot, the Windjammer.  It boasts two world-class golf courses, tennis courts, numerous vacation rentals, and a marina.  It also has plenty of beach frontage if you prefer combing for seashells or just relaxing to the sounds of the surf.  Whether preparing your picnic for a day at the beach or planning a meal after golf, there is a Harris Teeter on the island for your grocery needs.

Take time today or on your next visit to check out some property on the islands that could be your next piece of paradise.
